Eat that frog

Looking back on some old notes recently. A session was taught based on a book called eat that frog. It is a time management book. Here some of the notes I took that night.

Everything we do is for the purpose of chipping off the potential in us. To find the king from a rock take away everything that doesn’t look like a king. There is a king inside everyone of us. Everything that has happened ti us happens to remove everything that doesn’t look like what God wants us to be.

Time management is nothing more than life management.Ask yourself at the end of each day what did I get done today.

We are living in the laziest generation ever but it is also the busiest.Most busy but least productive generation. Don’t confuse busy with production. Don’t confuse laziness with rest. God is about productivity. Jesus cursed the fig tree even though it wasn’t it’s season because it wasn’t productive. Looking busy and not producing will incite a curse from the MASTER. He is interested in productivity

We have to maximize what God gave us. You got to have bigger goals than just getting married or graduate. God has many goals for you.Ask yourselves what have we done with our lives up to this point.

Set yourself a goal. Talk to God about it. Setting goals help you not to be a procrastinator. The habit of starting and completing important tasks has an immediate and continuous payoff.

Habit for everyone. Read your Bible everyday. Pray. Seek me early, it really changes your day.

Think on Paper. Write down your goals.

Habukkuk  2:2-3

And the Lord answered me:

k“Write the vision;

make it plain on tablets,

so he may run who reads it.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time;

it hastens to the end—it will not lie.

If it seems slow, wait for it;

nit will surely come; it will not delay.

1.Think on paper

2.Think clearly

3.Give it a deadline

Desire to excel in natural things will bleed over into the spiritual.

1. Decide exactly what you want

( what is your goal)

2.Write it down

3.Set a deadline

4.Make a list of everything you can think of  that you will need to achieve this goal.5. Organize the list into a plan.

6. Take action on  your plan immediately.

7. Resolve to do something everyday that moves you toward your major goal. Begin building your daily schedules around accomplishing this goal.

How do you eat an elephant one bite at a time.

Plan everyday in advance.

Think long term.

So be encouraged keep planning, being productive and enjoy your day!
